Life in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania isn't all hiking, biking, skiing and swimming for me -- I'm a full-time media executive, mother of two boys under the age of five and a wife of a husband who's a baseball and football nut.
We got Loki, a male white German Shepard, from the White German Shepard Rescue League. Brian picked him up in State College, PA with his cousin Kyle in August. Jacob and William love Loki and Loki loves them.
Makeva is thrilled to not be in the doggy lime-light anymore. ;-)

William sits in a tree in Mam and Pap's farm in Hegins, Pennsylvania. Both boys really loved visiting the farm and we look forward to moving back nearer to them and Brian's parents.

We took the boys to Canobie Lake Park in late August and they loved it. William was especially happy because there were many more rides he could go on than at Knoebels in Pennsylvania. Here both boys loved the jolting frog-hopper ride.

We've been fortunate to have warm days right into the end of September, but the evenings are chilly and the boys are wearing long pants. Winter will soon be here and with it my most hated activity -- shoveling snow.
